Market predictions are a waste of time

Warren Buffet said "I have never met anyone who can forecast the markets. Forecasts tell you more about the forecaster than the markets".

What is important is not running out of money in retirement and this is usually avoided by consistent, long-term saving into global equity funds and NOT attempting to time the markets.
